On the 27th, an incident occurred near the Mossad headquarters in Israel where a truck crashed into a bus station, according to a report by Sky News. Israeli authorities confirmed that in the city of Glilot, north of Tel Aviv, the crash left at least 35 people injured, and the driver of the truck was shot dead.
A spokesperson for the Israeli police stated that preliminary investigations indicated the truck hit passengers waiting at the bus stop, as well as buses parked there, near a military base in Glilot. The police confirmed that the truck driver was killed during the incident.
Investigations at the scene are ongoing, and authorities have not yet determined whether this incident is being treated as a terrorist attack or a traffic accident. Emergency medical personnel were seen treating the injured at the site.
The Magen David Adom ambulance service indicated that they received a notification of a “mass casualty event,” reporting at least 35 injuries, with six individuals suffering from serious wounds.
