On October 18th, a major event titled “National Strong Private Enterprises Boosting High-Quality Development in Guizhou Conference and 2024 Guizhou Business Development Conference” took place in Guiyang.

The conference, themed “Seizing New Opportunities for Development in Guizhou to Co-create a New Future for the Private Economy,” aimed to unite leading private enterprises from across the country and global Guizhou businesses. The goal was to support the implementation of modern Chinese practices in Guizhou and to promote high-quality economic and social development in the region.

During the event, a signing ceremony for key investment projects was held, resulting in 20 agreements totaling 29.34 billion yuan. The Guizhou Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Guizhou Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau, and the China Top 500 Industry Alliance signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. This collaboration focuses on Guizhou’s comparative advantages and leading industries, with an aim to attract more Fortune 500 companies to the province, thereby enhancing Guizhou’s industrial growth and economic development.

Notable speakers included Yan Xin, Chairman of Su Business Construction Group; Lin Jianyi, President of Huafeng Group; Xiang Xin, General Manager of Guizhou Jooli Biochemical Co., Ltd.; Jiang Nan, Chairman of Guangdong Shengfeng Group; and Zang Fengjiang, Chairman of Guizhou Tongyuan Group. They all expressed confidence in Guizhou’s business environment, stating it provides a solid foundation for private enterprises. They affirmed their commitment to increasing investment and collaborating to contribute significantly to high-quality development in Guizhou.

The conference also featured various sessions, including the “2024 World Warm Business Conference to Support Guizhou’s Open Development,” discussions on attracting investment from overseas business associations, engagement with the China Top 500 Industry Alliance, parallel sessions focused on four key industries, and a dialogue session with the presidents of Guizhou business associations.

Attendees included officials from the National Federation of Industry and Commerce, representatives from the China Top 500 Private Enterprises, leading individuals from specialized and innovative private enterprises, and representatives from well-known regional business associations across the country.
