In an alarming incident that took place on October 2, a Chinese hair salon on Eighth Avenue in Brooklyn was the scene of a violent robbery. Two armed men entered the establishment, resulting in a 28-year-old male employee being stabbed, while approximately $1,000 in cash was stolen. The police are actively investigating the case but have yet to make any arrests.
The confrontation began around 5 AM when the assailants got into a heated argument with the employee. The situation escalated rapidly, with one of the suspects brandishing a knife and stabbing the worker. After the attack, the suspects fled the scene on 59th Street with the stolen cash.
Emergency responders, including officers from the 66th precinct, quickly arrived at the salon to assess the situation. The injured employee was transported to Maimonides Medical Center, where he is currently reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities have described the suspects as Hispanic males wearing black clothing, with one reportedly carrying a black handgun.
