On October 26, a press conference was held in Beijing to announce the 26th China Agricultural Products Processing Investment and Trade Fair, organized by the China Rural Development Association.
According to Dong Jinhe, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Rural Development Association, the China Agricultural Fair, recognized as a 5A-level agricultural exhibition, has successfully hosted 25 sessions. It has become a vital platform for showcasing high-quality products from domestic and international agricultural processing enterprises, facilitating investment and trade, providing information, and enhancing collaborative development. This event plays an irreplaceable role in advancing the Central China Rise strategy and promoting the healthy economic development of Henan Province.
Wang Jianping, Deputy Mayor of Zhumadian City in Henan Province, highlighted that the China Agricultural Fair has established itself over its 25-year history as a leading international event for the high-quality development of China’s agricultural processing industry. It has actively contributed to agricultural technology innovation, the conversion of research outcomes, and the overall rural revitalization and agricultural strength initiative.
Data reveals that previous sessions of the China Agricultural Fair have seen over 12,000 significant projects signed, with total contract amounts exceeding 1 trillion yuan. The fair has welcomed more than 600 research institutions and 433 industry experts, resulting in the release of 6,542 agricultural technology achievements, with 856 outcomes successfully converted.
This year’s exhibition is scheduled to take place from December 19 to 21 in Zhumadian City. The venue will cover approximately 38,000 square meters, featuring six exhibition areas and six activities focusing on “showcasing trade, project promotion, and contract signing.” Activities will include policy interpretation, contract negotiations, promotional releases, and networking sessions.
Preparations for the exhibition are underway smoothly, with companies from 16 countries and regions, including Russia, Australia, New Zealand, and Belarus, having registered to participate. Delegations and representatives from well-known enterprises across various provinces, such as Guangdong, Hainan, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, and Xinjiang, are also in the process of organizing their participation.
